A headspace is a mental construct like a tulpa that exists as a mental environment within somebody's mind, created, sculpted, and changed by neuroinvasion abilities. Headspaces are only limited by the time and creativity of the psion creating them; with enough effort, entire worlds can be sculpted, and headspaces can also be created accidentally. A psion can typically enter their headspace through neuroinvasion abilities or in their dreams, and how convincing they may seem depends on how much detail is spent sculpting each aspect of the headspace, leaving less room for the subconscious mind to fill in. Some abilities allow one to create a mental connection with others that allow them to enter your headspace as well, or to perform other feats such as metacreatively projecting part of one's headspace into the real world using a manifest.
Like tulpas, headspaces are inherently non-psionic. Technically, most organic people utilize headspaces in some way; a dream is a collection of temporary, rapidly shifting headspaces, and sometimes non-psions may possess more permanent headspaces that take the form of recurring dreams. Interacting with a headspace is like interacting with a dream; more experienced neuroinvaders can create headspaces that seem almost identical to real life.
Neuroinvasive Headspaces
Headspaces, like tulpas, are fairly easy for neuroinvaders to create, making them highly interesting for use in abilities. Examples of abilities that may utilize headspaces include shared dreaming, controlling a flux construct from a headspace like a cockpit, accessing memories from a headspace like a library, and metacreating part of a headspace as a manifest.
