Gravity weapons are sometimes used in melee weapons that use blunt force such as gravity hammers, considered to be the blunt force counterpart of the vibroblade. Gravity weapons make use of gravitic channels on the impact face of the weapon to produce significantly greater kinetic force than a regular swing would produce. Gravity weapons can actually be fairly effective against armor, easily able to crumple up metallic plates and potentially bones if a person wielding a gravity weapon is able to get close enough. Due to their electronics, they are often heavier than their conventional counterparts, making them unwieldy to use, and they are vulnerable to EMP.
Gravity hammers are a common form of gravitic weapon, truly shining when scaled up into larger variants that can only be wielded with the aid of exoskeletons or power armor. Though they are often unwieldy, the immense force that a strike from a gravity hammer can produce can make it a terrifying weapon capable of easily shattering bones with a single strike.
