A sub-Erchioid, Karonium lies within a class of crystalline substances which, although they are not true isotopes of Erchius, share many similarities with Prime Erchius. Karonium has an interesting property of being able to posses superparamagnetic fields on a macro-scale. Although it can be used as a potent fuel when changed to a liquid allotrope, it cannot be used as a fuel for Hyperdrives. Other possible uses of this resource may exist, but are not researched yet.
