IT WOULD BE THE WARLOCKS TRIUMPH,
A FOCUS THAT COULD HEAL THAT WHICH THE FINAL PLAGUE WOUNDED.
THE GREAT KIND ONE CHOSE IT AS A KEY,
SO THAT WHEN THE FINAL PLAGUE RETURNS,
THERE WILL BE HOPE.
The Gaia Seed is a precursor artifact that acts as one of the six keys to the Monolith Gate. It acts as a potent enhancer of certain mystical powers that affect organic biologies, allowing use of these abilities to be more widespread. It is believed that the Gaia Seed was initially created as a terraforming tool designed to help heal worlds that were devestated by the Ruin. It is a passive cuil generator, producing more cuils when in use.
The Gaia Seed's previous bearers were a tribe of Florans inhabitating a moon terraformed by the artifact called the Lunari Tribe. When the Lunari split from their main tribe, the Teria, on the planet below, it is said that their leaders took the Gaia Seed with them and used its power to make a new home. In September of 3286, the Gaia Seed was recovered by the Haven Federation as a result of a diplomatic mission conducted by Grand Protector Wright Dinn, with the aid of Arjun Kapur, Nuru, and several other. Following its recovery, Arjun Kapur used the seed's power to heal the Yggdrasil Tree after parts of it were damaged by the Ascended Superhive.

September 29th, 3286, the Gaia Seed was taken to the Monolith Gate to be used as a key by a group of explorers. However, a skirmish soon began between the explorers and a sect of Occasus extremists called the Sect of Celestial Truth. Belle Parry, a member of the group that was taken hostage by the Occasus, suffered a severe spine injury when the hostage situation went wrong. In the end, the Occasus was defeated, and the Monolith Gate's second key slot was filled.
