A more modern advent of technology, the cruiser sees application in military situations as well as in luxury situations, with the majority of "cruise-liners" designed for exotic vacations in the stars being built in this class, they sit comfortably enough for capability in use as vessels with large hangar bays for small craft, typically sub-atmospheric in nature, though this is often designated as a secondary use, with carriers being more specialized for transport of other vessels. Due to the size of these craft and their required design, bringing them to sub-atmospheric levels requires that a matching dock be placed on the surface below for the cruiser to make port in. Because of the cost of the creation of these, these ships rarely go below orbit, instead making port on orbital space stations with teleporters or space elevators within.
Cruisers lack the capability for high acceleration, to make up for this drawback, they are given dense armor plating in military applications to minimize the risk of hull breaches while in battle. Mounted railguns and large ordnance are the typical armaments of these ships, with most cruisers sporting a large railgun cannon that runs around half to three-quarters of the length of the ship, capable of dealing mass damage with a long reload and recharge for use. Crews must be at least at a minimum of 30 people to handle a ship of this size.
Length: 220-340 m
Height: 145-230 m
Width: 112-200 m
Of these specifications, the longest dimension shall be treated as the ship's 'length', followed by height, and then width.
