A polymer battery is a type of solid state battery that is commonly used in mobile devices. They do not store as much energy as chemical batteries, and definitely not DE batteries, but the fact that they are lightweight and contain few volatile components make them ideal for settings where mobility is important, such as with most mobile devices. In the 33rd centuries, polymer batteries have far advanced the capabilities of the lithium polymer battery, using more exotic polymers in order to safely store more energy in a rechargable configuration.
