Discombobulator grenades (also called anti-armament grenades) are a form of non-lethal grenade that creates a large discharge of graviton particles in random directions by overloading and frying a graviton generator using a superapacitor, causing objects in its vicinity to fly around and weapons to fly out of people's grips. Discombobulator grenades typically have an effective radius of around 7 meters, and only effects objects up to 20 lbs. The force of which objects are thrashed around depends on their distance from the source of the explosion.
Discombob grenades were originally created by various police forces as a means of breaching rooms with armed suspects safely, allowing suspects to be pacified when flash or concussion grenades may not work.
