A recently discovered sub-Erchioid. Just as Karonium and the series of minerals that it gets its namesake from, Critum grows in crystalline veins, usually found in airless environments deep below the crust of moons and asteroids. Critum is found very rarely within veins of other sub-Erchioids and true Erchius isotopes as a dull-orange crystal with a "stringy" texture to the growths of its crystals. Critum's anomalous features seem to be its potential to act as an extremely energy dense chemical battery with immense energy capacity, and its ability to act as a heat-sink for many kinds of energy, which it seems to store as potential energy within the resin-like deposits inside of it. Other possible uses of this resource may exist, but are not researched yet.
