Sensory Overload is an anomalous phenomenon in which stimuli to the senses is suddenly increased, causing unique effects. Sensory overload can be experienced sometimes as a form of cuil induced sickness that begins to manifest at around 3‽, beginning weak but increasing in severity the higher the cuils the sufferer is exposed to. Cuil sickness can also sometimes be caused by exposure to a greater amount of stimuli as a result of psionic ESP or even clairsentience.
Symptoms of sensory overload include saturation of senses; smells become stronger, colors suddenly appear much more vibrant and one can even see colors they normally wouldn't. Senses of touch suddenly may become painful and sounds might become grating. At more severe levels, synesthesia can occur, causing one to experience senses from other senses, such as hearing tastes or seeing sounds.
